Ashburn Farm 10K/5K/2K

Whether you run to win, run for fun, run to support a good cause, or run just because you want a guilt-free day of eating - plan to join us for the 19th year of these fun Thanksgiving Day races!  Proceeds from the races support secondary (i.e. high school) education for 51 children that have graduated from HUMBLE School in Mukono, Uganda and are now attending nearby secondary schools.  These children live in poverty and are extremely vulnerable - they would not be able to continue their education without the financial support raised by these events and committed participants like you!

Need one more reason to participate - Ask your family and friends to sponsor your run or walk. We will be awarding three special prizes to the top three participants of any of the three events who raise extra funds for the secondary students: A Kindle Fire, a Kindle Paperwhite and an Amazon $50 gift certificate (minimum $350 donation raised to qualify, Amazon gift card of equal value may be substituted). Bring your donations when you pick up your race packet. Prizes will be awarded during the awards ceremony (do not have to be present to win.)

Time:
Races begin at 8:15/8:25/8:35 AM.  All races start on Windmill Drive.  Finish Line on Crossroads Drive for 5K and 10K.

Sanction:
5K and 10K footraces are sanction by USATF.

Walk In Registration
Available at Crossroads UMC, M-F from 9 AM to 5 PM through Tuesday, November 20.  Wednesday, November 21, between the hours of 2 PM and 8 PM or on Thursday, November 22 (Race Day Morning) between 6:45 and 8 AM.

Packet Pickup
All registered runners can pick up their race packets, long sleeve T-Shirt, and race number at Crossroads UMC on Wednesday, November 21, between the hours of 2 and 8 PM or on Thursday, November 22 (Race Day Morning) between 6:45 and 8 AM.
